Com Station

Desk-Station

The station either serves arrival from top or from below. Suitable for installation in desks or counter tops. The Carrier is inserted to the top of the stationand delivered to its desired destination. An arriving carrier is delivered by an integrated lift to the desk level.

Slide-Station

This station is normally used in connection with the AC2U Point to Point. Arrival from above and push button sending, the slide keeps an arriving carrier on the buffer to be collected.

EWS Station

This station has a loading leg on the left hand side to send carrier automatically to the desired destination. Carriers arrive in a deposit tube on the right hand side, gently on an air cushion and are deposited into a receiving basket. The station allows arrival from above only.

Multi-Load-Station

The Multi load station is a sending station only, ideal for high volume systems where returning carriers promptly is essential. It can store 3 carriers at a time.

Automatic Return Unit (ARU)

This station does not have a physical presence in a work area, but is installed near the blower / plant area. It is fitted with a tube that can be extended to a central area, normally in the main Laboratory in the hospital. The ARU works in conjunction with transponder coded carriers, where each carrier is electronically tagged to its own department. In the Laboratory, carriers can be loaded rapidly into the receiving tube of the ARU. In the plant area, the carriers cue, taken in any time the system is free, to be scanned and delivered to their home address. Compatible with the AC3000, the ARU ensures that time efficiencies are extended to all elements of the air tube system.

The blower

The blower generates the air, which is necessary to operate a Pneumatic Air Tube System by suction and pressure.

The diverter

The diverter is used for creating the required network of tubes and connecting all areas of the system. 2-, 3- and 4-way diverters.

Transfer area

Interconnecting diverters, to connect the different lines, in different zones of a pneumatic tube system. The connection between different zones can be managed by diverters or by a Linear-Coupler-System.

Carriers

With different inserts to handle blood samples.

Receiving basket

The receiving basket is used for the soft reception of arriving carriers.

Arrival signals

The arrival signals announce the arriving carrier to the receiver.

Dispatch Tubes

The pneumatic dispatch tube is a PVC-Tube with very tight production tolerance in regards to the measurement and surface. The tube is joined with glue sleeves or steel sleeves.
